Where are your products manufactured?

Winlock prides itself on its range of UK manufactured products, including most of its window handles.  Wherever possible Winlock chooses partners who manufacture their products in the UK or Europe.

How do I maintain my hardware?

We have use, care and maintenance guides available for both doors and windows that can either be viewed via our product catalogue or by following the links above. We also have a maintencance / cleaning guidline which can be accessed here.

How can I open an account?

To open an account, simply contact our Customer Services Department on 01952 602250.

How do I place an order?

Orders can be sent to us by facsimile on 01952 602255, by email sales@winlock.co.uk or by post, to Winlock Security Limited, Unit B, Hortonwood 31, Telford, Shropshire TF1 7GS.  Unfortunately, we do not accept verbal orders to ensure we fully understand your requirements.

I am unsure what product I require, who should I contact?

Please contact our friendly, professional and experienced sales team on 01952 602250 who will guide you through our range of products.

How do I know you have received my order?

As soon as the order is processed an emailed order confirmation will be sent to you.

How quickly will I receive my order?

As we hold over 2,000 product lines in stock, subject to your product being available, and that the order is received by 15:00hrs, the product will be despatched the same day.

What is your minimum order charge?

The minimum value is £100 + VAT.

How much do I have to spend to avoid carriage charges?

Orders over £300 + VAT are delivered Free of Charge to any UK mainland destination.

Orders below £300 + VAT are subject to a carriage at cost.

What product will suit my profile?

Our experienced sales team will guide you through the up to date profile listings we hold, allowing us to give you the widest choice of hardware to meet your requirements.

I need a detailed drawing for your product, is this available?

Yes, our in-house Technical Department can provide diagrams on hardware and assistance with the specification requirements.  Please contact our Customers Services Team on 01952 602250.

I am a specifier/architect who is interested in new products, do you conduct seminars?

Yes, our sales team would be delighted to visit you with a tailored presentation to meet your specific requirement.

I am looking for a window handle that is a different colour to the standard colours in the industry, is this something you can assist with?

As long as the product has a RAL colour and you require a reasonable quantity we can facilitate your request. 

Need to replace my hardware in my property; what do you need to know?

Ideally, a simple photograph of the hardware in question will assist us in providing you with the correct replacement.  Any distinguishing markings are also of use and any measurements you are able to provide.  Alternatively, complete our product identification sheet on the Technical page or call our Customer Services Team on 01952 602250.

I would like to be informed of any new products you launch, how do I arrange this?
